Today I’ve just been bouncing between lots of tasks.
Laundry, crafting, general tidying, etc.
I thought I’d show you some of the things I’ve found in the past few months.
Some I have plans for and others I just couldn’t pass up
but have no idea what to do with them yet!
I love books and I have lots of them.
It’s always hard for me to pass up a really great book.
Especially old books
I also love birds
I was very excited when I found this
Because I love anything French
I have always loved paper anything
My problem is that I can’t seem to chop them up!
I see things made with old paper all the time and it always
looks so great…..maybe I’ll get there…..maybe
This wood spool was a really lucky find
totally free by a dumpster!
yes, it’s true…I’m a dumpster diver
and curbside trash picker too
My girls do it too!
Just the other evening on the way home from an evening out
with my daughter and son-in-law,
she found a pretty desk she will turn into a dressing table.
I have a feeling I may be involved in that project.
Back to the spool…I don’t want to do a run of the mill table
and I’ve been thinking about turning it into a tuffet.
The girls could use it in front of their dressing table.
Of course the dressing table needs redoing too so I’ll need to do both.
That could be a winter project
I REALLY love this lantern. I found it at Goodwill and think it was around $20
It’s already the right color and everything!
Don’t know where to put it yet.
Found this little lamp with a pleated silk shade
for an amazing $2.98!
It’s a little shabby but I like that part
Isn’t it sweet?
This suitcase will give me some storage in my studio and was only
$4.98! Again, pretty beat up…that’s why it was cheap.
The last thing I’ll show you are these four wire trays
I know it’s hard to see them all stacked up like this
Here is just one
They each have a metal label too
This is why I wish I could find somewhere to rent a booth.
Pretty soon we won’t be able to walk through the garage at all!
Twice yearly Porch Sales aren’t enough to contain all the
I need a twelve step program
Wow,great finds! Great prices too. That little lamp is too cute.
Isn’t it? The shade is a bit wonky (like me) but I still love it!
