Today is It’s A Cinch Day!
Boy do I need that!
LOTS of teenage drama yesterday and I didn’t even post!
That usually doesn’t happen…
So this day was perfect for me.
I knew what I wanted to do already and just got up this morning
and was done in a short while.
There’s a wall next to my stove that I really hate.
Those two thingys annoy me and it’s impossible to hang anything there.
The top is just a blank which was for something that I can’t even remember now,
10 years later.
The bottom knob regulates the speaker for the all important music.
So I can’t cover it completely….I need to use it!
I remembered these wire baskets I had bought at the Habitat for Humanity Store.
I have four and haven’t settled on what to do with them until this
It’s A Cinch
project came along.
It’s A Cinch
project came along.
I realized I could cover those thingys, make the area look pretty
and give myself a convenient place to hang a recipe…
out of the way of spatters!.

a piece of pallet board
the wire basket
screws
a level
a screwgun
I hung the wire basket on the screws
And then I had fun embellishing!!
What do you think?

OK. This is so dang perfect! I love it, love it, love it! I’m a little embarrassed that my easy peasy projects are so hard. I make everything too difficult…
Love this project…I can think of hundreds of items to hang on it! I am your newest follower and would love it if you would follow me back at http:smallholdings.blogspot.com
I love this! Could I buy one of those from you if you aren’t using all of them around the house? I have a small area I’d like to put that! Love this project!
That’s great Miss, i love it!
What do I think? I think I want your other 3 baskets! Can you reach your widdle fingers into turn the speakers up and do you sing along?
~Bliss~
That is such a lot of bang for the effort buck!
You found the perfect way to cover up those necessary knobs and switchplate covers and still use them!
I love it! Funny, because I did something similar with an old crib spring. It perfectly fits over my light switches and is the perfect memo board – just like yours
Love your swag and cute little bottles.
So glad you joined our Cinch party!
Kelly
great idea!! I have some wire office baskets that would work for that too.

What a great way to repurpose your basket! When I read the title I thought “what basket would be big enough to turn into a memo board?” but now that I’ve seen it I’m envious that you have three more 🙂
